ABOUT COCKNEY GREEN
Based in London, Cockney Green is a creative studio that collaborates with local schools and businesses to bring art to the community. Our expertise includes large scale murals, canvases, installations, sign writing, window painting, advertising boards, sip & paint, workshops, team building and art therapy.
At Cockney Green we pride ourselves on working with local schools, businesses and residence to brighten up dull, lifeless spaces.

MEET OUR FOUNDER
KATHRYN McGUINNESS BA(Hons) PGCE
Kathryn studied Art and Design at Chelsea College of Art, obtained BA(Hons) at The London College of Printing and later completed PGCE Secondary Art and Design at Greenwich University.
After 20 year of teaching in secondary schools, Kathryn decided to change paths and set up her own design and print company specialising in Event Stationery. From 2014 to 2018 Kathryn was the recommended Wedding stationery designer for Stationers Hall and The Institute of Directors.
Kathryn has ‘paint in her veins and love in her heart’ and believe that Art is therapy and should be accessible to all.
VALUES
Born and raised in London Kathryn is a "proper London girl" with a passion for keeping the cockney culture and traditions alive through Art. Cockney culture and tradition are all about family and community these are the same values Kathryn implicates in her daily life.
Kathryn believe all Londoners, especially the younger generation should have a basic understanding of the not only the history of this wonderful city but embrace our vibrant diverse town. Kathryn thrives to bring awareness to the younger generation through educational workshops, community paint projects and working with UK and Ireland based businesses. Kathryn has organised and executed several community Art projects working closely with The British Armed Forces, British Rail, Transport for London, local Schools.
